Running Classes of Medical Ethics: In India, the medical course curriculum consists of 14 subjects only. In some other countries, it has more than 14 subjects and it includes medical ethics as a subject. We started teaching medical ethics in Baroda Medical College in 2011. We found a book published by World Medical Association titled "Medical Ethics Manual". We requested them to allow us to modify the book and reprint it in India. We were given permission. We revised the book and supplied copies to the medical students for free. We selected 12 professors who agreed to give one lecture of one hour each. The classes were conducted 4 times in the last 6 years. We wish that some day, Medical Ethics will become a regular subject in medical colleges in India per medical council of India's regulations.
